Spring?

It must be inching nearer as my brain is beginning to get the twitch albeit my body is ill prepared. Still its rumored that the temp will hit 30 above next week. If the roads are dry...

Accuweather 15day is showing a warming trend in 10days...or so. I could handle the 40's for a few days. Shoot, 25 would be a heatwave at this point.

That's called cabin fever, where the brain hallucinates from the lack of sunshine.

A week ago, almost 60F, sunny and dry for weeks. Yesterday, 8 inches of snow, still snowing today with another 2-3 inches. Good thing it won't last, expected rain Sunday and Monday!

It's plenty sunny here, but the temps don't want to get above 0.

I have fantasies of seeing my MTB with the slicks back on the rims instead of the studs. Pictured mentally, it's almost as good as 6" heels on a dancing girl. Sick....c'mon Spring!

Well at least 3 of the 4 really rotten months of winter are gone. Already we have more than an hour of sunlight that we didnt have at the end of Dec.

Feb. 19: high of 57F and sunny. Local group ride with the mellow ladies scheduled then, 35 miles. On my calendar, TCTP be damned.

This morning it was -15F. Hopefully this will be the end of subzero temps. Surely we will have another couple of bad storms. Sunny, 35F and bare roads is all I need.

-11 here this morning and supposed to be worse tomorrow morning. Then sorta a blizzard on Thursday although for NH we are not doing too bad with the snow so far. Anyhow we change the clocks 3/8, only 25 days. I am ready to have a little daylight after work!

We're supposed to have a 'historic' ice storm tomorrow. Long range forecast shows 68 degrees next week. WTH?

I drove across the UP on Sunday. It was a rather pleasant day. What part of Northern Mi are you in?

Ah, just about at the tip of the ring finger. I've been known to pass by that way.

Some mangy varmint in PA said we had six more weeks of this crap. Haven't ridden in 11 days due to patchy roads. Cold is OK, but patchy roads are a show stopper.

-7 in Kalamazoo this morning. We are gaining 2 minutes of daylight per day. We must be getting closer to the sun, right?

-7* in Cleveland this morning as well. Doesn't seem like winter will ever end. Heading home to VA tomorrow (in a snow storm if the forecast is correct) but then to GA on Friday where temps are supposed to be as high as 60* on the weekend. Hope I don't get heat stroke!

In theory.

Currently 10F up here in Boyne Country. Warmup is on the way!

6" of fresh snow in Charlotte with 2-3" more on it's way. Unfortunately the far eastern parts of NC & SC got ice and there are a lot of people without power.

I think we're getting further away (in the elliptical orbit), but the axis tilt is moving us more directly under the sun. Either way, Spring still seems far away.

Well-the temp has improved. It is over 20(f) unfortunate that we've had a couple of inches of wet snow yesterday and today.
