First MC this year.
Actually the first metric century in many years. Fierce winds from the west and cool temps made this ride feel like it was in mid October. Little bit sore where I meet the saddle and left hand and arm kinda numb the last 20 miles but legs held up great. Only averaged 12.5 MPH.
Rode most of the ride in small chain ring to save legs. Small victories help to keep me raising the bar and build confidence. Was pretty lucky to stay dry too. Plenty of ominous cloud cover at times.
