Here is an SA set-up video you may find interesting.

Yes, resist the urge to tighten the saddle until you have ridden it a while unless you are particularly heavy.
And as others have said, raise the nose a bit so that you slide backwards a little onto the flat spot. You don't want to be sitting in the middle portion of the saddle. Setting this saddle up, especially with the raised nose is counter intuitive but the comfort of my new T model is eye opening.
I'm betting the new version they are working on might be lighter in some way. Perhaps with carbon or impregnated nylon to replace the heavy metal frame in the rear.

I put an X graphite watershed on my Roubaix this month as well. I have about 90 trainer miles on it and am pretty impressed as well. I thought my Specialized Toupe was pretty good but was running into some issues with it after 3,300 miles and decided to give this a shot. I will bring it down to AZ next week and put it on my bike down there and give it a good test. Can't wait to ride outside for a few days. Have a Merry Christmas!

The saddle felt great on my ride last Saturday (82 miles, 5000 ft of climbing), but it was over 200 miles and was sagging. I adjusted the tension last night, but may have tightened it a bit too much. I loosened it 1 turn today, and will see how it feels after Saturday

Visit Selle's website, for the proper tensioning process. Overtightening will void the warrantee.....

After getting snowed out of riding last November, I finally went for a nice ride yesterday.
I've been a B-17 fan for more years than I like to admit, and am very happy with them - once they get broken in. The problem with the B-17, is, that, for me, it usually takes somewhere between 1,000 - 2,000 miles. Once done, however, it never changes! Always comfortable.
Now, I don't mean to imply that Brooks is uncomfortable when new - they just get better with miles.
Back to the Selle AnAtomica NSX. My first impression remains the same - this saddle is very comfortable, right out of the box.
Setting it up, I measured the old saddle, and put my sit bones in exactly the same spot, bar to saddle. Then, I made sure it was perfectly level, with a level.
Honestly, the saddle disappeared under me the moment I swung a leg over the bar, and remained that way for the next 2+ hours.
I never felt it, not once. This is a very comfortable saddle. I did not have to readjust any part of it - not once!
I may have another favorite saddle, in fact, I do! I won't hesitate to recommend this saddle to anyone.
The only question, is going to be - how much will it have to be re-tensioned?
Time will tell!

It is amazing when a saddle just "disappears" while atop it . . . !

Hey Guys,
I'm back with an update since my Jan. '15 post. I have now put an additional 400 miles on the saddle and I could not be happier. I have played around a tiny bit with raising and lowering the nose (a millimeter at a time) and have that locked in pretty well. I got used to the nose being higher but as it started to stretch a bit, I started tilting it down a bit and I'm now very happy. I was also feeling a bit more pressure on my left cheek during a ride and so I move the entire saddle a couple of millimeters to the left as recommended by SA. That seemed counter-intuitive to me but it has worked. They suggested it was from a bit of a leg discrepancy and it makes sense to me.
Bottom line, this saddle is just the BEST I have ever used in almost forty years of riding. For the sake of science I'll probably try one of the Rivet saddles someday, but for now I have found butt nirvana. It has extended my riding distances and my overall enjoyment of riding in a huge way.
By the way; I'm 5'5" and 134lbs. I bought the T Series and spec'd chrome rails instead of black. It doesn't look anywhere near as heavy and clunky as I thought it would...or maybe I'm just getting use to it. I don't notice the weight at all on my Look 585, but I am looking forward to seeing the carbon prototype SA is working on. However, I hear it is going to be very pricey.

It's amazing what a leather saddle will do. I use Brooks B17 on my touring bike and a Swift on another road bike, but I have Fizik saddles to also be comfortable, so if the time ever comes to make a change I probably look into the SA line because they do intrigue me and they're cheaper than Brooks...Brooks have skyrocketed in price since I bought mine over 15 years ago.

Regarding the new one, I got an email about it asking for Kickstarter funding of $200, in return I will get a saddle someday. Being a sucker for lost kittens I paid. It's been a few weeks and no news but I'm not worried. The Kickstarter info said the expected retail price is $299. So, lost kittens at a bargain price - lol!
