Bike stand?
I want to get a bike stand for the garage for Mrs. Jones (the Masi) and possibly the Globe (although that has a kickstand). I want the stand on the floor, not something that's wall mounted. Be nice if it would be sturdy enough to hold the bike when adding air to the tires as well.
Lots of choices on Amazon. Anyone care to make a recommendation (or steer me clear of something)? Thanks

If the only maintenance you're going to use it for is adding air, I agree with oldnslow2, just lean it against something. If you're looking for an on-the-floor storage solution, I do like the Rakk linked by JanMM (I don't particularly care for the Rakk when adding air because it holds the tire securely enough that it's a little bit of a pain to get the valve in the right position - I usually roll the bike off the Rakk, then lean it against something to put air in the tires).

I hang the bikes upside down from bicycle storage hooks screwed into the garage rafters, which still leaves room for car storage and serious car work, such as timing belt changes.
I add air when I take a bike down to ride it, and just lean it against a wall or a car bumper while pumping up the tires with my trusty floor pump.

Between me and my son, I have 8 bikes, 6 hung from the ceiling and two on the ground. I also made hooks to hold 10 wheels.
I also fit my car and lawn equipment in a one car garage. If I had them all on the ground i'd need a 2 car garage.

Bike stand or bike storage stand? If the storage kind, this ==> Feedback storage stand. If you mean a bike stand for doing repairs, I have the Park Stand PCS-10.

Make you own;
Bike Rack
Bike Rack
I like them both. I also have one of those space bike racks that lean against the wall and holds two bikes.

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.
Oops, you jumped on that one a little too quickly, Deege. I think that I have a couple of those that I'd let go pretty cheaply but the shipping cost might turn into an issue. I have a couple that hold the bike up by the left crankarm. I like them a little bit better but I can't find
one in a catalog.

Figures. I'm always a dollar short and a day late.

I'd be curious to hear your thoughts after using it for a bit.

We have five bikes. Four hang from hooks mounted in the studs of the garage and the fifth is always in my Park repair stand. Works pretty well for me. I can't imagine using all that floor space.
