Handle bar fit
I like the way my handle bar is fitting now except for one thing. When I am in my drops it's not the most comfortable position. It feels like the back of my palms is falling off the end of the bars. I could grab it a little higher but then my wrists starts to twist and its not very comfortable after awhile.
My question is if I turned my bars lower to extend the reach on the bottom half I will need to move my brakes up on the bar. Will I still be able to have the same extension and angles as before? I guess I could try it out but will need to re-tape everything which is kind of a hassle. Or should I just get another bar that I think could work?

Your handlebar is currently in a crazy position. It is turned up high, and the levers are mounted low relative to the bar. Generally the tips of the levers meet a line parallel to the bottom of the drops, and your levers are well below that.
I'm not surprised the drops are useless. That's a soup sandwich.

Yeah, just loosen the stem clamp, rotate the bars so that the drops are more or less level, unwrap the bar tape, and loosen and reposition the levers higher up on the bars. The only issue will be in whether or not the tape re-wraps nicely; you might want to have a new set ready to go, just in case.

Will try adjusting them a bit...

This would keep your current brake hood angle while having a more normal drop:

You don't have to have your levers sticking up like that, though. That's up to you, but those are on the higher side of normal. The lowest you want is when the bottom of the bar is horizontal. Generally you put the levers in the right spot on the bar, then rotate the bar and levers together to whatever angle.

Hub bub bar extension, is made to fit grip shifters on in a bar end shifter position , in the end of the handlebars.
it is simply adding a 22.2 tube , so can function to make your bars longer,
just start taping over them once they're installed and it will look OK , i suppose.
https://hubbubonline.com/?product=hu...op-bar-adapter.. 63c or 73mm longer.

Dang, I just re-adjusted my bars to look like yours and am blown away!
I just took a ride and it's like day and night while in the drops. I tried not to spend too much time in the drops due to it being uncomfortable to hold and also the angle when trying to grab the brake levers were hard. I've been doing this for two years since I bought my bike!
It never crossed my mind that the were set up wrong.
Thanks Kontact for your advice. Going forward is going to be awesome from now on...
But now I don't have an excuse for upgrading to a carbon fiber bar. Got to go find something else that I don't like now...
