Question Stem extension

Hello all new here and had a question. Are there any negatives to using a stem extension on a carbon fiber stem? I have a Pinarello Galileo and feel the stem isn't high enough...

you mean a stem riser? might be a bad idea on a carbon steerer , but fine with steel..

have you sought out a 40 degree up angled stem?
