I dont know what kind of bottom bracket I need for my bike. I own a 1972 Schwinn Varsity, I took it apart and im stuck on getting parts for it. I dont know the damn size of the bottom bracket and what all i need to buy for it bb and spindles all is so confusing if someone can help me and point me in the right direction!

I also need help finding out what kind of back wheel i need with the right Cog for a 27in rim.

Why do people hate Bike shops, because they aren't free?

Liking self repair, and liking bike shops can be compatible thoughts in a particular person's mind..

Buy more tools , learn some mechanical aptitude , read books .. they are in the library at a free cost assuming the library lets you have a card..
