Speed and cadence sensor on a Brompton?

Is it possible to attach one of these: Wahoo Blue SC Cycling Speed & Cadence Sensor to a Brompton?
The cranck doesn't pass in front of the wheel, so is there a workaround for this?

Their previous model is ANT+ but it has a long cable for the cadence sensor, so you could put it in front of the crank:
https://www.amazon.com/Wahoo-Fitness-.../dp/B0047840SY

Why did they change the design?

Are there any alternatives? Garmin has a model, but it has the same issue as the Wahoo one.

Looks like two independent sensors... I'd cut and bridge the wire between the two..

I had the same problem on my downtube. I ended up getting the Garmin speed and cadence sensors. They are the newer ones that are separate and attach via rubber bands. No magnets.

So with this Garmin sensor, for cadence, you only need to attach one sensor to the crank?
And for the speed you need to align those other two? Is that correct?

Does the sensor have Bluetooth? Can I connect it to my iPhone?

Thanks!!

I will answer my own question: no Bluetooth, only ANT+

Here is a review from DC Rainmaker: A look at Garmin?s new ANT+ Speed & Cadence magnet-less sensors | DC Rainmaker

This are exactly what I need for my Brompton, but I would prefer dual Bluetooth and ANT support. Any ideas?

Hello!

Hi!
One question folks, do you know it it's possible to adapt one of the wahoo or Garmin sensors on the rear wheel hub?

I'm planning to train at home, and i haven't been able to find data about that... Thanks and have a great weekend.

Bikes: customized Dahon Helios 1x10, customized Dahon Smooth Hound 1x11, customized Dahon Hammerhead 8.0 d7, Kinesis GX Race 50(mullet setup 1x11), Forme Calver 37 (1x11), Planet X Giovanissimi 20 (1x9), Orange Zest 20 (1x9)

I fitted a speed sensor (cheap bluetooth/ant+) on my rear wheel hub, it seats on it and is secured with a Supplied O ring. I fitted a second one too.

i had to setup the wheel size on the watch and it picks up the speed and calculate the distance. Cadence comes from the decathlon/halfords sensors (bluetooth/ant+)

On my Bike Friday (can't use two sensors that must be aligned due to frame/crank positions) I have Wahoo bluetooth sensors that only require one unit, no secondary magnets. https://www.wahoofitness.com/devices...cadence-sensor They also make the single unit, no magnet, speed sensor. Works great for me.

I use this for speed
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/123996202361
And this for cadence
https://www.decathlon.co.uk/cadence-...d_8595961.html

but you could fit these too
https://www.decathlon.co.uk/ble-ant-...d_8487041.html

or equivalent, I have the halfords version on the jetstream.... they are waterproof, I rode through 1foot high of flood last winter nd it worked well and still is

I have been using the Magene sensors, which are dual sensors, that only perform one function at a time, but are inexpensive an have been reliable.
Set up is a bit fiddly at first, but once figured out not a big deal.
I would recommend a secondary loop of tape on crank sensors as the oring/robberband mounting is not resistant to being knocked off by your foot when riding.
This is an even bigger issue with foldies, being more exposed to getting knocked about
