Looks like a copy of a well known design..I would be worried if you have a seatpost that folds forward on your BF..Just might push the seatpost forwards when you are heavily laden going downhill..And also the seatpost hinge may not be designed to take that weight in a rear direction with you on board..
Never really understood the need for a trailer..If you can carry four panniers and a bar bag plus a bag across the rear pannier what else could you possibly need to carry when touring..apart from a kitchen sink!..Perhaps if only used for the weekly shopping in flat areas may be fine..?

If you're travelling with a Bike Friday, then consider the Bike Friday trailer.
I have a duffel bag that I carry inside of mine. When carrying the bike, it goes in the trailer and the duffel comes out. When riding, the bike comes out and the duffel goes in.
One thing I discovered from my recent trip is tie-downs would be nice. I bought some rims I hadn't anticipated purchasing, and they didn't fit. So, they got tied on top. And, every time I opened the trailer, I had to unstrap everything. Also considering a special mount for my backpack.

As far as the Chinese trailer. I haven't used 1-wheel trailers. That looks a bit like the kid tandems (afterburner, piccolo, etc). However, I'm more attracted to the designs like the Bob Trailer that connect to the axle as the connection seems stronger.
Keep in mind, the seatpost mast is oversized. So if the trailer clamps to the seatpost, it may be fine. But, it would need to be oversized if it clamps to the mast.

Bike Friday Brazes a Piece on the chainstay tube to use their Own Trailer hitch.
which is actually a High Pressure air tool quick disconnect .. The Male part screws into that fitting..
Female part is attached to a short piece of Hose which flexes as you turn. Its on your trailer drawbar.
you can adapt most 2 wheel trailers ..

Another of Alan's family uses the Bi Fri Trailer frame design and puts a Rubbermaid Water proof Box on it.

A 20" wheel is about 2/3 the size of a 700c wheel... more or less, so one would expect a chainring to be about 30% larger or so. So a 54T chainring equates to something BIG.
That bike came with the Sachs hub which does already compensate a bit for the wheel size, but I'm still experimenting. And, for 150 miles one day towing a couple of weeks ago, I didn't drop it off of the large chainring once. I kept it mainly in the direct drive, although I did use most of the cassette.

I've never tried one on a Bike Friday myself, but there are a few folks that reported stability problems when using a single wheel trailer. The hypothesis is that the bike's rear triangle is more prone to twisting due to the way it's secured and the angles of the chain and seat stays.

But my favorite cadence is probably around 50 RPM, or often less.
I haven't ridden the BF a lot. I was initially a bit disappointed, but I think I was spending too much time in overdrive with the Sachs hub.
I've started trying to keep it in direct drive as much as possible, which I think is a much more efficient gear, but does require a large chainring (for my riding). I think 70T is just about as big as will fit into my suitcase without removal. Unfortunately, it is pushing the range of a front derailleur. I think I have a 52T or something hidden behind that monster, but may not need a derailleur to shift down to it. Just toss it by hand for those rare moments when extra low gearing would be useful.
I snagged my PR with the Bike Friday on a Strava segment yesterday, with 5 previous efforts being within 2 seconds of that speed, so it is representative.

Put aside one or two wheels. I think this trailer should not be used with a folding bike for the simple reason that it attaches to the top of the seatpost.
On most folding bikes (including all Bike Fridays) the seatpost is essentially a big lever arm. It's designed to support the weight of a rider: it's not designed to support the weight of a rider and a refrigerator. Excess torque on the seatpost from a trailer is a *bad* idea. Similarly, I see to see lots of stuff (racks, *big* bike bags, baby seats, child trailer bikes, etc.) foolishly hung off of folding seatposts without much thought to the stress on the bike.

I had a different question: how do you keep rear gear changes from causing chain drops up front? Usually a single gear bike requires a chain minder, front derailleur, or chainring guard to absorb the lateral wave energy from changing gears in back. Certainly it's a requirement on the 60T on my tikit.
