I feel like I have been paying attention. The last bit of info I was referencing came from you. I took from that that progress was being made, but that not enough progress to actually start production.

Gibsonsean... as I said... progress, but not enough to actually start production. Don't get me wrong here, I'm rooting for you to get a bike, I'm just skeptical too.

on a re-read, fair enough interpretation of updates here.

the net of backer updates is that frame production has been underway for some time and assembly is now kicking off with one set of parts outstanding.

Latest update is out. Update on production and assembly with all progressing well.

Great videos of the front fork locking mechanism and sliding seatpost one of which wincingly included the phrase "clamped by the balls" - I'll leave you to guess which one.

In the next few updates we can expect to see final checkout instructions and confirmation of a delivery schedule. Looking possible that i will have my bike for my Christmas trip to Spain! Still plenty to go wrong of course, but there is light at the end of the tunnel now.

Zebede a bunch of people have sold their buy ins and apparently it is ok to do it. Use the search feature and you can find more info about how to do it. Roger

Given the number of backers and the length of time this takes, I wanted to crack a joke about the other end, of the backers dropping out of the list due to natural causes and pondering about provisions for the heirs. Alas, as I went to the Kickstarter page, there was a post there from a son whose father was a backer and passed away recently.

Looks like the public website has been updated with an indication of order resumption ('spring 2019') and retail pricing (from USD 2100, 2200 and 2500 for the single, 10 speed and alfine respectively).

Hoping for a big backer update this weekend or next.

'spring 2019'?
Looking at his track record, I'd wait until a few unbiased reviews come in.

Dang I just want someone to get their bike. Just one person!!!!!!

Then we can all relax lol. Its looking pretty sweet though. I think the updated site has some new photos. No matter how long this is taking, you gotta admit its a pretty sexy bike.

I mean 22lbs...that's carbon fiber s-works hardtail weight range...for a folder!!!

One day I will be able to see a youtube review and feel at peace lol. And one day...if they are ever for sale...will buy one! When that day will come, is anyones guess!

Site only mentions that the company will start taking people's money(again!) in 2019.
But does it say anywhere when they will deliver 1 bike? Year? Decade?

Real weight of a real bike. Available now; for a few decades actually.

Oh good, more pre-orders to fall in line behind the last pre-orders which will all be met before the backer bikes are shipped. This is moving along splendidly.
