Throttled down, semi blocked ?
I can write one line and than my keystrokes get garbled or are missing all together... after 2 sentences I have to really type slow and one finger at the time ...
I don't understand why this is happening since quite some time now ...
I have cleaned my old messages, cleaned pictures and everything I could fnd but no difference.
Same on home computer ...
would like to know why that is and what I can do to be able to type answers to questions a little longer than just one line.
I have send the question to several admins but never received any answer
Thanks Thor

I have not noticed any change on my end.

I experience similar issues...slow to respond, typed characters take a long time to appear, etc etc...
I used Google Chrome and this is almost always accompanied by a message saying that Shockwave Flash has Crashed.
have tried to fix the problem by up dating Chrome and doing other settings changes, but it persists even on a brand new PC.

Ditto, on and off the past week. Typed text vanishes, then may reappear. Worse in Chrome than Firefox. I rarely use Exploder/Edge.
Seems to be a problem with scripts, possibly ads. With Chrome I don't run any script blockers, but run script and ad blockers in Firefox. I prefer to disable script/ad blockers on sites I'd like to support, since they rely on tracking traffic for revenue. But I tried not using ABP. The site bogs down so badly it's painfully slow on the PC, almost unnavigable on mobile.
I think admin mentioned revamping the site's interface this week. Maybe it's a temporary glitch.

Same problem from time to time running a Mini MAC running system X EL CAPITAN. This was happening all the time to me in February and finally just quit using this site for about a month. Now it is just sometimes. Seems to me I am getting it from some of the ads posted on here. Roger

Two solutions. If it is the ads then pay the small yearly subscription and your problem will be solved. If you don't want to go that route, then type your responses in any word processing or even an email editor and then cut and paste into the thread.
Sorry I also would like to add another bit. There is actually a discussion group for these sets of problems since what you are talking about isn't actually about folders.

Your issues have been mine since I first got here. Strangely, it seems for me the site had gotten faster. I might be able to read more than 4 posts in an hour now!
E: This just happened today... the difference is astonishing - It used to take more than a minute to load a page, then it was choppy if I tried to scroll. I'm quite tickled, but I also empathize... been there, for mostly ever!

I mainly have an issue with posting pictures from my tablet and cell phone to the forum. Unless I SHARE a picture from a URL I can't post a picture. I don't want to be forced to use a hosting site so I can post my bike pictures.
PS: right now, on my Android tablet, while using chrome, posting this is slow & extremely choppy.

Haha, and I thought it was my old Galaxy 8 tablet that was slow.
It never occurred to me that it was this site.
I just closed out my Chrome and I can type as usual again.
