Brompton: Realistic cable housing lengths
Hi guys,
anyone measured his cable housing lengths for a S2L (shifter and breaks)?
I would like to install a new set and the lengths I went with last time were a tad too short as I obviously didn't include enough play for folding etc.
Thanks a lot!

IDK Yours, I put in a different brake lever that did Not point downward , in the direction most direct line, for the cable run from below,
so I needed to replace Both cable and Housing .. I used My mechanical back ground and made the housing long enough to do the job,
the loop to the under side of the front Brake was allowed to be a Bit longer , so I did not rub against the fork,
I did not actually work from a Measurement , And it is an M3L, Not an S2L..

That's what I tried to do last time without measuring upfront, but I ended up realizing that the front one is a bit too long, meaning it does not touch the disc at the front fork, which is supposed to hold the cable away from the fork, and the rear one came out too short, getting quite some tension when folded...

For my front on a S Brompton, I used a Mtn bike noodle which keeps the cable away from the wheel and gives me no trouble at all.
