Brompton no 023

Hi All, have signed up to your forum, to try and find out more about a Brompton with frame number 023, have looked on the Net but it is different to the mk1. There was a picture of mr Ritchie with the same model on pintrest, Brompton have not been much help at the moment. Phil

if it's in decent condition, it's rather valuable. does it look like this?

Bikes: 2011 Jetstream P11 Alfine; 3sp Presto-Lite; Occasional Access to 6sp Brompton

There was an initial pre-production run of 400 bikes in 1982, these bikes had the hump on the top tube I believe. There was one on eBay a few years back but it got pulled after only a few days. Apparently bike no 018 is held at the Brompton Store in Covent Garden, London.

Brompton 023

Hi all,
After some further investigations , we are coming to the conclussion that this Brompton was num 23 of the first batch of 30 ever made. It differs from the one you have kindly put a photo up off , the release for the centre fold is on the other side and has a totally different mechanism, is it possible to put photo's up when your a newbie, and how can i do this.

thanks Phil
