Making a Swift decision

Like Tom Petty sang, ~the waiting is the hardest part~!!! After much reading and researching, I will join the ranks of the folding cognoscenti with my very own Swift, built up with Nexus 8 hub, XT brakes, upgraded BB and Marathon Racer tires. This forum has been a tremendous help, especially dalmore for letting me try his bikes in the flesh (fold?) and Wavshrdr for the invaluable advice and insight. Oh UPS Man, wherefore art thou?

Glad I could help. I think you will love it. It will most likely be a LTR...

Nice choice of components. Did you get the vaunted Red Label?

Sounds like a good rig! Swift have many advocates on this forum, and seemingly, justifiably so.

So I take it you've ordered this bike through Peter, and that you're not swapping components on a Xootr? If so, what's the estimated delivery date? Aluminum or steel frame? And, if you don't mind my asking, price? Details, man, we want details!

Jack, yes I did order from Peter. I don't have an estimated delivery time, other than "I hope you're not in a hurry?".

aluminum frame, I assume. Price is, I think about 1,040.00 including shipping. I've only paid so far a 300.00 deposit, which I think is fair.
