It looks like folders are much more popular in Europe and Asia, but the overall market is really taking off!
Let's hear from some of you in Europe and Asia!

London is definitely becoming folder dominated. Whilst maybe a year ago, it was rare to see a folder out apart from the odd Brompton, now you see them everywhere. Still loads of Bromptons (I passed seven on one 3 mile trip last week), but also the odd DT, a fair few rather ugly Dahons, the odd Mezzo and (on the London Cambridge train I take once a week, a fair few Birdies.
It feels like a tipping point has been reached. Whilst 16" wheels attracted stares not long back, its now a fact of life on London roads. It would be interesting to see what sales figures for folders are looking like - must be rocketing at the moment, driven by new cyclists, people buying into multimodal commuting and getting sick of ordinary bikes getting nicked - see https://news.independent.co.uk/uk/cri...cle2274492.ece

Both my personal web sites are increasing in traffic. I am really suprised by this turn of events. I expected a luke warm response at best. Now I cannot update both sites fast enough! Even in Southern California, I have seen an big increase to these sort of bikes-by younger people.
