Maybe it's Dahon's latest model they sent you?
When folded it becomes invisible and you need the special specs to unfold it.
It's called the Dano Nano
Hope you get it sorted. Always disappoiting when a delivery gets screwed up!

+1. I'm guessing the bike was stolen out of the box at some point. but what do I know. We need more information. What's the scenario? Did you order the bike to be sent to your home, or directly to the bike shop? If you accepted the delivery at home and then brought it to the bike shop unopened, that would be bad. Did anyone sign for the bike? And so on.
Photos always a plus.

Unless you ordered the bike directly from Dahon and had it shipped to the LBS, the LBS is responsible, of course. Are they hesitating ordering a replacement? If they are, request your deposit back immediately and contact Dahon.

What was it a new 2009 special edition Dahon Superlight using NASA materials and weighing 2kg?
I'm amazed the LBS would sign for a package that's meant to be a bike and not notice the package was so light. Fingers crossed they ordered for you and that you are covered. Have you been waiting long for the order?

I think it's disgusting.
I just called my friend who works for DHL. She says you have to inventory the joss sticks, let them know the number, flavour, and weight, and DHL will email you a prepaid barcode. You fax this to the LBS, and ask them to ship the box back to:
C. M. Aromatics, Flavours & Fragrances
304, Guru Ram das Marg
Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur-302004
Rajasthan (INDIA).
She's a personal friend of the CEO there; he says your bike is safe, and Krishna or somebody, is watching over it.
