folding bars

Hello,
I usually don't post on your 'folding' site, but my question may be correct here.

I have been trying to get a situation sorted out for somtime now. I have a standard road
bike (56cm) and it is coupled. I pack it in an S& S case. I use bar end shifters and a drop bar
with a Gravin flex stem, which is a 1" quill.

I want to pack things easier and am looking for a drop bar to accodate my other pieces
and one that comes a part. I have talked to Bike Fri and they have nothing to use with
a single bolt stem. I am trying to converse with a Germin compy on a drop bar that is
made in three pieces, but am not getting anywhere. I can't read their site and questions
remain about their bar.

Suggestions on a bar? Remember, it must fit Shamino bar end shifters and a 1" / 25.4 stem.

That German bar was just reviewed on the touring forum. Looks interesting.

This may also work for you:

I ordered the Origin 8 bar ends few months ago and but they were disappointing. They are small and provide less holding positions than simple straight bar ends. They are not a reasonable replacement for drop bars.

On the other hand, I had in the past very good experience with these BF bars https://store.bikefriday.com/index.php?cPath=157 They split in the middle which make them packing and grip shifters friendly.
