Picked up a Nickel Brompton two months ago. Probably clocked up about 200 miles on it since buying. It's been great, my best purchase of anything for quite a while and hadnt used a bike for around 25 years. Bought for commuting but have been enjoying it at weekends too. It's a H6L. Now that I've hit 10 posts hopefully these pictures are allowed.

Origami Crane
Bought a Crane 8 from Origami Bicycles a few weeks ago. It's my first bike in many years and my first folder, and I'm very pleased with it. Perfect for bopping around the city with. I'm starting to understand the folderitis that folks here talk about...

I second that!
Origamibikes gives the best support of all. I bought a Cricket some years ago and when I need something for it just contact them and the owner himself Paul responds at once!

Pretty much have it all set up:
- lights (Cygolite Metro/Hotshot and Cateye Reflex)
- Montague Rackstand --- this is wonderfully convenient for making the thing smaller when folded
- bags of various sorts (frame bag, speaker bag, Avenier panniers, Banjo Brothers Deluxe Mini Seat Bag)
- tools (Ninja C chain tool, Fix-it-Sticks on a bracket, patch kit, CO2, SKS Aero mini-pump)
- Ergon GS1 grips (need to track down a set of Ergon GP1 Neo grips, but they'll probably need a new handlebar)
- MKS FD-7 folding pedals
waiting on a shim so I can install a Cane Creek Thudbuster ST.
I'd like to get a set of hand-laced wheels, and Serfas Survivor Drifter Tires, and IRD Classica Freewheel 6-Speed 13T--32
Eventually I'd like to try a Geoorbital electric wheel.

Dahon Archer (like a Speed P8), new cables fitted, ready to go. £210 used, in good nick, feels tight so far, not been on a bike for 20+ years, fun ride, looking to change the chainring to lower gearing and maybe a new saddle in the future

Bought this turkish green Brompton M6R last week (my first folding bike) and I already have folding bike fever! Just ordered a Bike Friday Tikit off ebay yesterday too.

I purchased a Dahon Speed P8 about 10 years ago and just recently the frame cracked at the weld near the fold. I then purchased a Vilano Urbana that I like a lot because its light and very simple, but I'm worried it might fail as well sometime because it was really cheap. I only ride on paved roads, but they are in pretty bad shape. I would eventually like to get a folding bike where the frame itself doesn't fold, like a swift or bike friday, for peace of mind.

Start a new thread and tell us more about the Dahon that cracked when you have enough posts to post links and pictures. We do not often hear about Dahons that crack so it can be useful information pics of the area that cracked, how much you rode it and if it "just snapped" or first developed a crack and so on.

Picked up a Brompton copy, a Neo 203, in Thailand. Aluminium frame, adjustable handlebars, fold slightly different, and a sticker claiming it was designed in France!

A couple of months ago, I picked up an Auto-Mini folding bike (Senator-branded) locally for $20. It was pretty beat up and missing the rear wheel (and the internal-gear hub and shifter), but I fell hard for the bike... it's become my winter/spring project.
I've since picked up a rear wheel and 14t freewheel for it, hoping to turn it into a sometime commuter.
Will post a pic once I'm able (damned 10 post minimum).
