Older Dahon Speed and frame indentation?
I recently looked at an older Dahon Speed (old enough to use a standard headset) that is for sale in my neighborhood (asking price of $325). The main tube has a large indentation on the side, close to the headtube. When I asked the seller about this, he claimed that older Dahons have this indentation so that the handlepost can nest in it when folded down, for an overall tighter package. I was a little surprised since I've never noticed this on any other Dahons. Can anyone speak to this?
