Seat post paint retouching
Any idea if certain types of spray paint would work OK for evening out the finish on a worn seat post? I'd expect it to wear; that's OK so long as it doesn't scrape off instantly or gum up.

On a folding bike where the seat post is lowered and raised all the time, I cannot imagine any paint staying on for long. If you prefer to remove your seat post maybe normal car spray paint?
Alternatively find a bare aluminium seat post replacement so you don't have to worry about paint?

Lower portion of our BF Pocket 8 seat posts (Easy-Pack type) go in and out of bikes all the time with only some abrasion, but they are 'powder coated', not painted. They are also made of frame tubing. If seat tube is Aluminum, it should be 'anodized', not painted. This does limit colors a bit.
