Dahon Handlepost Recall - still an issue, help needed
Hi guys,
I just put my UK purchased Speed TR frame number through the Dahon recall site, and I am told it needs replacing.
Here are some issues I need help with
1) The bike wasn't new when I got it, in 2009. Is there any chance the post will have been replaced by then, and how would I know by looking at it ?
2) Given I don't have a dealer to return it to, how does one handle getting a replacement ? The Dahon site assumes it will be through a dealer.
I could have sworn I checked the serial number before and it was ok, but I guess that was in another life, or in a dream or something.
Any thoughts, guidance welcome.
