Barcelona Citizen Bicycle
Does anyone know if there is anywhere in Los Angeles we can test ride a Barcelona Citizen bicycle? My wife is very interested but wants to test ride it first. For those who already have one, what are your pros and cons? Thanks.

My wife has the Barcelona. For her it's a great bicycle. She is 5'-1"+ a bit. I have ridden it some but I'm not totally sold on the frame hinge/lock assembly on this particular one, at my weight anyway. I'm about 175 lbs. I notice on the latest photos on their web site that they have changed something with the frame lock lever at least. So maybe it's an improvement. I think the rest of the bicycle is nicely put together. The gearing is too low for my likes. CitizenBike was good to work with. They offered to replace this bike when I complained but I wasn't interested with fussing around with the repacking and shipping. I be more inclined to stick it in the attic and forget about it. If you get one I'd like to see close up photos of the newer frame hinge and lock assembly.

My friend has one of these and I did test ride it. The build quality is not that great, so I cannot say that I am a fan. In my personal opinion, the Dahon Ciao is a much better option.
