Bikes: Too many....................

Jifo 16

I bought a used Jifo over a month ago but I finally had a chance to ride it. I bought it used with upgrades from a person who put less than 11 miles on it. I like the fast and small fold. I donot like the mudguards The Ergon grips are very nice. The brakes are great and accelerating is quite easy.

thanks for starting a thread about this bike, dynocoaster. its very interesting and i have also thought about buying a used one. the full retail price for it is outrageous. how's the handling? have you had a chance to put it through it's paces yet?

Bikes: Too many....................

It was icy out the day I rode it but it seemed to steer and handle well.

The first owner can't have had the bike long - did you enquire as to why they were selling it, or did they offer any view on living with a Jifo ?

im very curious about the history of the Jifo.. how did it come to be? clearly, it is the Bipod Mint with some design modifications. the first pic is the basic Bipod Mint. the following pics show the bike being upgraded. maybe some ideas for you dynocoaster..

I like the pastel colors. I noticed that they donot use a tensioner.

Truly a work of art, but i see they have not yet managed to give it more than one speed.

Although I cant afford it I wonder if a 2 speed crank would work on the Jifo?

Whoa, that thing is pretty sweet. Do they still make these bikes? I went to that Smartcog website but it hasn't been updated since 2011.
