Good job. It was a bit cool today. What time did you do your ride? I started mine, Hilton/Riverside area in Newport News, around 9:15AM.

Started mine about 10. Had an appointment at Jefferson and Mercury at 11. Then it was off riding randomly until I got home around 2.......

I got a chuckle out of the picture of the smart vehicle parked next to the not-quite-as-smart vehicle.

I'm anxiously awaiting the months of blue sky like your pictures depict. Spring is so close I can almost feel it; unfortunately, I'll feel it in my sinuses when it gets here. Oh well, that gives me a good excuse to leave the valley and ride in the forested hills.

Ahhh.....Oregon. I love the mountains, trees and all that goes along with it. Not to mention the coastal roads that are available there. I really have enjoyed my time in the Pacific Northwest!!!!!

I reckon your "Beast" is as long as mine and probably as heavy.

Difference is I have two sets of legs to propel mine and one of those sets is strong.

My legs aren't all THAT bad. Been riding steadily since 2000. ((no car owned since then))

MY Beastie-- 55lbs all up weight- Doesn't accelerate- slow up hills- doesn't go round corners and the brakes eventually stop it------But great fun.

Full offroad Tandem that will take everything that our hills can throw at it.
