Would def have to ride that Pedersen;I'm wondering how solid it feels with that seat arrangement.
That last pic of the Bernd's makes me think someone didn't fold their Brompton right.

Smallwheeler what a thread! Thanks for all the research and sharing. Here is one I really like but it is sadly overpriced in the UK and I wonder can you trust the carbon frame? Oribike of Taiwan (who manufacture the Mezzo) do make some other very nice and light non-carbon variants too.

this bike is interesting for a few reasons. at first glance it looks much like other small wheel cheapie bikes. on closer inspection it has some noteworthy characteristics. hard anodized aircraft aluminum frame. brompton handlebar stem and hinge tech. you can see for yourself..

excellent hinge design ( a la brompton):

a non-folding version re-branded:

That van belongs to Geoffrey Smith who runs a folding bike shop up here in Santa Rosa CA.
A big part of his business is hiring out Bike Fridays - for visitors day touring around the Sonoma County vineyards.
He was very helpful sorting out the details of my new custom Llama which is currently on order with the factory.
