Stable Brompton rolling besides Rack?
I've tried the Kamoya Turn and the standard roller on an L-type fender, but so far none of them has shown any where close to the same stability and ease as a rack.
Does anyone know of other alternatives that can compare to the rack? I'm tempted to just go back to it.

Yeah that wasn't the problem. I think they're so brilliant so I've bought one for each Bromptons (got one then ordered another a few weeks later).
Guess I was warned against removing the rack but my mistake was believing the Kamoya Turn could resolve all the maneuvering problems of the single wheel.

I removed my rack and I was ok with it but it was a tad unstable. I sold the bike before toying with it further.
Have you considered using the front wheel as a stabiliser. I thought the bike could be wheeled possibly with a bit of thought using the wheels.

We are thinking about this type of mudguard wheel mod. do you think it is feasible.??

I tried that and it didn't work because the angle of the vertical pin wasn't right. I had a castor like that but instead of the pin, it had a flange. I screwed the flange to the mudguard and that's when I saw that the swivel axis must be vertical when the castor wheel touches the floor. With mine which had the flange, that wasn't feasible. So I abandoned the idea. If you can find a nice elegant way of making the swivel axis vertical, then I think it might work.

With the Kamoya Turn it rolls with a pronounced curve, and would tip over from a light breeze. I'm too technically ignorant to investigate anything that requires metalworking, so I guess it's back to the rack for me, or this, which is currently out of my price range:

Someone there makes that? what else does SinG make for Bromptons.. what's SG$ to U$D rate.. .8:1 today ..
I just use the road wheels & unfold it..
looks like the Titanium hardware substitutes at www.bike48.com, for Bromptons
will keep Keyven's Charge Card busy for months to come ..
5-6 of those those caster ball wheels would be good under the chair I'm sitting on.

That means multi-modal transport plays a decidedly sizable role when I'm commuting. Hence, why good practical rollers is so important in my situation.
