@ admins:
Is it OK for me to create a test account - so I can check out the current registration process and just maybe provide some help/info to reduce the spam problem?
If yes - who do I contact (PM or email) about any details (publishing stuff publicly can risk giving info to spamers)?
Don't promise anything, but am willing to do what I can to help (I've got some experience fighting spam for WordPress and a couple of forums).
Edit:
Hapy to take on (temporary) admin/mod duty if the onboarding hassle is worth it compared to what I might help in terms of janitor work related to this spaming swarm (my time zone is CET if that info is relevant).
