Hide Thread option?
It would be great if under "Thread Tools" there was an option to hide the thread and it no longer appears for you while you're logged in.
It would be even greater if putting someone on your ignore list completely removed their threads and comments, but I'm guessing that would be more difficult to implement.
The easy solution would be to just ignore the *******s, sort of like the easy way to deal with poison ivy is to not scratch at it.
Thanks!
EDIT: Oh, and might as well throw "Hide Forum" in there under Forum Tools! Though I'm guessing that's even less likely...

There are hidden forums, but controlling that on a per-user basis probably wouldn't be all that easy.
I always thought the ignore list should work better. I always hated to see a quote of someone I had blocked. And it would be nice if their threads were hidden.
From what I know about vBullitin, they have tried some of that and it was buggy.

When I became a mod, I decided I better take everyone off of my ignore list. I got over it pretty quickly. It probably had something to do with being forced to see every one of the worst posts on here, which aren't always from the usual suspects.

I'd prefer to have a choice about with whom I associate. Some members just talk too much, seemingly replying to every thread. When do they have time to ride?

+1 on being able to hide threads.

Yeah, I get it. And I know I create my fair share of ignore-worthy ********. But, the older I get, the more aware I am of how finite my time is, and the less inclined I am to spend it filtering out the noise. You can argue it's taking your medicine, but there's usually an upside to taking your medicine.

Watching YouTube videos seems to be just as addictive as video games and porn is for others. YouTube can be a waste of time. Not watching them allows me to spend more time on BF as well as time for a ride in between posts!
