I would suggest opening the image in Paint (if you are on Windows goto Start->Programs->Accessories->Paint, open up the image, then click on "Image" then Attributes, and change the dimensions of the image to 64 pixels by 64 pixels.

Edit: nevermind, this will only crop the image to 64x64 in the top/left corner.

Instead of clicking on "Attributes" under "Image", go for "Stretch/Skew". You want to adjust the Stretch percentages until you are under 64 pixels by 64 pixels. This may take some guess work, but muck around with the options and see what you can come up with.

Barring all else, link the image here and myself or someone else will take care of it for you.

In Photoshop, go to "save for web" and adjust the size so that the biggest dimension is 64 pxls. You can then adjust the "quality" to get the file size under the maximum... which is something like 6K, I think?

when a mommy avatar and a daddy avatar love each other very much, god will facilitate the transferance of the mans seed into the womans egg. then god will fill that combination with love and a soul. nine months later the baby avatar will be birthed, ready to fight communists where ever they may live.

clench your butt cheeks really really hard and then squint and imagine the image you want under your user name and then count to 11 and then begin to alternate left/right fist pumps

Non-paying members get 64x64.

BTW: You could also use IrfanView (free) to resize or change the attributes of your avatar.

Microsoft paint (Comes free with windows) works perfectly well. Use stretch/skew.
