A Milestone Accomplished
As of this morning I have eclipsed 1,000 miles on my bike. I bought it on February 6th of this year (3.5 months ago) and that was the first time I had been on a bike in over 30 years.
When I started I weighed 326 pounds. I'm now at 293 (down 33 pounds). I'm riding a Giant Sedona DX Hybrid and really enjoying it. I've done 101 miles in the last 7 days and am on pace to reach my May goal of 375 miles.
When I bought the bike I never imagined I would be progressing as I have. I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm a lot farther along a lot faster than I thought I would be.
Here's to many more miles!!!

Thanks to all!!! I'm totally addicted to biking and am reading and learning every day. Wish I had discovered it sooner!!! This site is a wealth of information and I'm glad to be participating here.
