Detailed map software for cycling planning...
Hi had a search but nothign come up.
I am looking for map software simialr to google maps and viamichelin.
Where you can search specific roads, such as D roads only in France (because clicking avoid tolls and motorway only offers you the N roads which are lorry roads).
Aldo would be nice to see gradients and total climb, much like the final screen on Strava.
I bet there is something out there.
Look forward to your answers.
Thanks.

I use MapMyRide for route surveying. It gives you elevations and bike-friendly routes and will plot a route for you if you click only start and end points. It will email a planned route that you can then open in a phone if you have their app installed.
As it turns out I never use MapMyRide for anything else, though, I use Strava for actual recording of rides.

I haven't figured out how to do that in Map My Ride on my iPhone. How do you do it?
