Beginner's Cycle
Hello, this is my first post. I would like some recommendations on buying a new road bike. Something in the range of riding in local bike rides up to 100 miles. Training in the 100-150 a week range also. This is my first summer in cycling. I gave up a passion for running because my knees could not handle the stress.I have local bike shops selling (Raliegh,Giant and Trek) bikes.Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Those are all decent brands.
Visit a few "good" bike shops in your area and take a test ride on the bikes you like. Ask the shop owner for recommendations too.
Get the bike you like and make sure you get properly fitted. Bike FIT is more important than the brand, model, or any accessories.
