Removing Decals

What are some ways to remove decals off of the American Classic 420 Aero Track wheelset? Are they removable? If they are, will they be black rims? I want to replace them with these red decals.

If they're stickers, they should peel right off, hit them with a hair dryer to soften them up if they're stubborn. Decals will need to be removed by something with acetone-- only for anno'd aluminum, acetone will muck up most anything else. The garish stickers came off of my old set of WTB wheels with just fingernails, and a little bit of post-removal cleanup with Goo Gone.

Bikes: 2015 Workswell 066, 2017 Workswell 093, 2014 Dawes Sheila, 1983 Cannondale 500, 1984 Raleigh Olympian, 2007 Cannondale Rize 4, 2017 Fuji Sportif 1 LE

That's a pretty radical set-up. I agree it would look nice with black rims and much subtler red decals.
