Bike setup?

Bike setup? Shimano Claris shifters with Sora derailers.
So, I have a bike with a Shimano Sora setup and a bike with a Shimano Claris setup. I was wondering if I could move the Claris shifters over to the Sora bike? Will Claris shifters work with Sora parts?

Bikes: Bianchi San Mateo and a few others
Shimano components are usually compatible between levels/families, so long as the parts are built for the same number of gears. In this case, if both bikes have the same number of gears -- 8 in the rear and 2 in the front, for example -- then yes, you'd be able to swap shifters.
