First post, a few questions...
I picked up a Giant Iguana bike that has been stored a long time, so it needs a total refurb. It's black, with a serial number of GN004979. How can I identify the year of manufacture, specs on gearing, and where is a good source for parts, price-wise? Thanks for any info!

Niagara Bicycle. Parts are easy to source. Do you plan to do the work yourself or have somebody else do it for you?

Do you have the correct tools? The folks in the Mountain Bike forum or the Classic & Vintage forum may be able to help.

Thanks to all! As far as I can tell, it's all original, just missing a few basics such as grips and kickstand, so after acquiring the proper tools, the fun will begin. More questions to come, I'm sure.
