Rigid fork for 2006 Diamondback edgewood

I know this is a cheap bike, but I would like to switch out the heavy suspension fork for the cheapest possible rigid fork, thinking something from nashbar etc? Know nothing about forks, other than this one is threaded. Also has v brake mounts. Frame size is 19" if thats important. Thanks in advance.
