All the best "Best" threads are on Twitter. The best words. The best hashtags. Totally not fake.

These are pretty good, other than unconscionable omissions of gruppo.

Thank you, that was a rich vein of entertainment. For instance, from one poster: "Man some of these threads should be banned for stuidity."

This one in A&S in 2010.
Bike vs Police. It had an 8 min video of a guy commuting and pulled over and then his whole 27 min commute in Massachusetts. It went to court and the videos went down unfortunately. Several posters I liked stopped posting after this.

Hard to say. One was an actual LEO and likely peeved at how the discussion went.
Maybe at me, ha. I guess they just had enough after several years.

There was one recently in the Bike Mechanics section were the guy tried to do some kind of modification to his carbon forks. It looked like they were mummified. It was all done in jest.

I found the series of "knave" threads in Road Cycling amusing https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycli...ing-knave.html

Also, they was a guy from Britain who posted here for a while. He was always boasting about being a top pro rider in Europe. If anyone remembers his threads please let me know. I can't recall enough to do a search. They were pretty funny too.

Thanks much. That is hilarious. I tried searching for it but even using "dork disk" and "fire" as search terms brought up hundreds of threads.

I can see most (if not) all of you didn't understand the question. It was asking about threads asking about "the best [fill in the blank]". Such threads often leave me smh.

I thought the "explosive" helmet thread was the best. Taken down by moderator though. A comic takeoff on an "expensive" helmet thread.
