Please help a guy out. I’m trying to figure out how to post specific questions on 2 bikes I just acquired and I have no idea where to start. Any and all assistance is appreciated. Thanks

Hmmm... I suppose it depends on the details.
Cones, Cups, Races, Lock Nuts.... and all those little round thingies that fall out when one takes the hubs apart.

For the OP:
There is a Mechanics subform that is good for general mechanical issues.

Otherwise, first think if it is a general question or specific question. General questions can go here under General Cycling. Something specific to bike type (road, MTB, etc), or bike use (road, MTB, touring, commuting, utility, etc) can go under a more specific forum. Also Advocacy and Safety for safety issues, accidents, and etc. There are also regional subforums for more local issues or events.

If the discussion seems to out of place, someone will help move it for you.

Exactly, they have one question and squander that on "can I ask a question?".
Too bad, you only get one question to ask for free and wasted that one already.

Well, first you turn on your PC, then open your browser and navigate to Bike Forums. Then you go to Start a New Thread .......

This is a pretty busy forum with lots of traffic. Never leave your posting for more than an hour or two without a second response from you, the OP, or your thread will get blown off track by all of us supposing what your issue is and then arguing about something you aren't even wanting to know about.

Be responsible, lead the discussion you started.
