I'm trying to install a Wahoo Speed Sensor on the hub of my bike, but the hub is large enough that I really need to stretch the rubber sleeve to hook it around the hub. I'm having a devil of a time getting my hands in there with good leverage since the wheel has 36 spokes and not much room to get my fingers in there. Anyone have any installation tricks to recommend in this situation?

I used the 'carrying hook' on a Swiss Army knife. If that didn't work, my next idea was to remove the wheel from the bike and the cassette from the hub to give myself more room. I too was working on a 36 spoke wheel.

O-Ring Hook.

Hold the o ring tab in one spot and push the sensor to the ring tab. You get more leverage like that.

Thanks for the ideas! I decided to put the sensor on the front wheel to avoid the cassette problem you mention. I don’t intend to put this bike on a trainer, so front will work.
