Yep. I made my 20-some year old cheap MTB into the functional equivalent of this: https://www.rei.com/product/109329/c...es-adv-21-bike. Didn't want to spend $1200 on a bike, so I took a $100 bike and made it into that. New handlebars, shifters, brakes, tires and fenders. Works just as well, probably maybe kinda sorta. Definitely not less than 1/4 the performance, at least, meaning for the money it is even better. Doesn't go fast with a top gearing of 42-14, though...

and ride it up the steepest hill you can find. Standing up on the pedals is okay; getting off and pushing the bike is cheating (though carrying the bike up the hill is allowed). Oh, and you'll want a front brake; get the hub brake they offer and it'll add a couple more pounds to it.

Do that three times a day, six days a week. Soon, you'll have the legs of a plow horse.

Its a simple question . bikes that punch above their weight. Getting max performance by being creative rather than spending or buying . bikes you build to hang with more expensive bikes with modern tech . who is really trolling ...?

Also i dont want anything i have the bike s i have and i use them properly , i hope . i just wanted to see other peoles cool bike builds that fall under that theme i used in the title . Gs US !!!!!
