Lazer Cyclone MIPS

Does any one know if the Lazer "Cyclone" MIPS helmet is available in the US of A? If so, where?
Thanks
Jon

VT must really be on their testing to just now add a discontinued model to their list.

I think I bought the last one after the ratings came out. Not sure why VT would be expected to know whether a company is going to discontinue a product while they're testing it.

my mistake then. When I was looking for the helmet I saw this story and thought it meant it was just added to VT site. Pardon me folks.

So, I've now ridden about 450 miles with this helmet, and it is a bit heavy and although fairly well-ventilated, it tends to run hot. I like it for now, but am not sure I'd be able to wear it when the temp gets in the upper 80s or higher. The heat problem doesn't seem to be anywhere as bad as the descriptions I've heard of for the Bontragers and Koroyds (sp?), I suspect that gel stuff would be much worse.

I paid $35 for it on clearance, btw, so even if it's one I have to swap out from time to time, I still feel good about the deal.

Are you wanting a MTB helmet in particular or cost or safety rating?
I'm getting ready to retire my Bell Super 2 and ordered a Troy Lee Designs A1 Classic MIPS Bike Helmet but won't be home to get it until 13th. TD A1 rated high on comfort and VT rating but both of these rated sucky on ventilation. Either can sometimes find a good deal online. But maybe somebody here knows a better helmet and price on another helmet.

I thought I read somewhere that the helmets VTech tests were all provided by the manufacturer, so it would be more of a headscratcher on Lazer's part. Could be that there is a new model year that hasn't become available in the US yet.

Well VT has Lazar Cyclone listed as a multi sport. Down list is the Specialized Chamonix MIPS listed multi sport too. It's on clearance too around $75 but in stock. Looks pretty roadie to me without visor.
