$10,000 to spend on a 'bike' for commuting and leisurely weekend rides? Here's a few I'd consider:
https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...d-pricing.html
https://powersports.honda.com/street/touring/ctx700
https://powersports.honda.com/street/touring/interstate
https://www.kawasaki.com/motorcycle/...ROUPLIST-_-MPP
Some might be a tad over $10,000, but I'll bet dealers are ready to deal on the remaining 2019 models.

Thanks everyone… lots of good ideas posted here.
It now seems a custom frame may be the best way to go, but I’m still not sure what material to use. The more exclusive and special the better. Please help!
I especially like the heads up helmet visor display suggestion! I guess I just forgot about those.
I also appreciate all the thoughts regarding the need to up my budget. I kind of expected this might be the case, but just didn’t want to fully acknowledge it. But I definitely don’t want to have to “upgrade everything” after getting the bike… better to get it right the first time. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t quite anxious to get this bike rolling.
I’m not sure why some here seem to be joking around… a 547 pound Harley Davidson? Seriously? Sure, it may be flashy and within the budget, but how would I carry it up the stairs?

I presently ride about 3000 miles a year on a Nashbar AL-1 road bike, and a couple of souped up hybrids and fixed gear bikes which I love. This new bike must be the absolute fastest, most comfortable, most robust, and most importantly the fanciest “show off” bike that $10,000 can buy.
I realize my “would likes” may not be standard on a budget of only $10,000, so I suppose I can splurge upwards a bit if necessary. Or, I'm not opposed to doing a bit of cobbling if that's what it takes. Thanks!

If nobody says this, I will.

I only respond to "Help me pick a bike" threads if they are the poster's first post.

fify ... the "redefined ... benchmark", a result of Lightweight's having "meticolously" worked on the original.

Does anyone think the OP is going to post again? I usually avoid questions on this forum from posters who only have one post.
"Looking for a Road Bicycle $3500 or less"
Just prior to reading this thread I had posted to: "Any suggestions for a Hybrid??"
There certainly were detailed suggestions in the prior posts in this thread, but even though I have the above-described bikes and decades-long varied cycling experience, I usually just give a general answer without specifics:...
I'm sometimes annoyed when someone tells me,"You just have to read this book (see this movie...try this dish...)"

You've just described my mother-in-law, who invariably will say, "Oh, Phil, you'll love this book that I'm reading..." Sigh. I say, "Really, Mom? Tell me more about it, please."
She really has no idea what types of books or authors that I've come to enjoy over my lifetime, or why, but that's irrelevant to the conversation.

That is dry weight. You want it filled with oil and gas. That brings it up to 564 pounds. The heads up display unit will add a few pounds as well, and I assume you will have bags and a water bottle cage.

Don't forget the 50 pounds of speakers needed to make it properly conspicuous. No window unrattled, I always say.
