Then there are those who complain about the forum and the moderators but for some reason they keep coming back. What is wrong with those people?

PoorinRichfield said "Having been relatively active on multiple forums, I've found BikeForum.net to be better than most in terms of snarky, useless, and derogatory comments."
Somehow I screwed up my quote, but I wanted to be sure to give him credit.
I totally agree with this. I have been in several Facebook groups for Jeeps. It seems that every post (no matter how benign) ends up turning into a knife fight. This group has been very helpful with all my questions and for the most part very polite in all the threads I have followed. I always look forward to seeing what is going on here.
P.S. In my jeep forum there would probably been 15 comments about how I am an idiot for screwing up the quote.

I used to be occasionally "snarky" on here to some I thought deserved it, you know, the pompous ones all full of themselves. Of course those people don't actually know who they are because they suffer from that condition. Like crazy people don't know they are crazy...because they are crazy. But I have made some lifestyle changes. Jesus is always watching so I try to remember that and proceed accordingly.

Usually great information and opinions here.
There are some forum members who do feel their opinions are more important than others and use the forum to attack and belittle those with opinions that don't fall in line with their own.
It's fine to like your bike, state, country, laws, but it's totally ignorant to use those thoughts to attack folks who don't fit all of your likes.

OTOH, I got busted for misreading a couple of statutes in the last couple weeks, Best thing to do there is just admit I'm wrong and move on. So much silliness on the internet stems from people unwiling to admit they made a mistake, or worse yet, insisting it's the other guy's fault for making them do it or noticing it (or whatever).

Truly mind boggling. It's like one of those TV shows where the narrator spends 3 minutes recapping everything that happened in the 4 minutes leading up to the commercial break.
