Bikes: Tarmac Disc Comp Di2 - 2020

I don't know,

Probably a good thing the bike has fenders. Even so I'd be worried about specs of road filth all over my clothes..... If I was ever to ride in such clothes. <grin>

Brooklyn bikes have that beat easily. 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of a Riv.

I don't understand the OP's point, as I see nothing in the photo that resembles the products sold by Rapha or Rivendell.

Racks bought from Rivendell. Now in their 11th season. Some of us are aware. Get back when you are, OP.

So, you’re trying to make fun of Rapha and Rivendell, but you have no clue about their product lines?

This thread gets a D minus, at best.

Wonder how much effort he put into this flop. Certainly more than the pimple grease chain lube did.

Bikes: Foundry Chilkoot Ti W/Ultegra Di2, Salsa Timberjack Ti, Cinelli Mash Work RandoCross Fun Time Machine, 1x9 XT Parts Hybrid, Co-Motion Cascadia, Specialized Langster, Phil Wood Apple VeloXS Frame (w/DA 7400), R+M Supercharger2 Rohloff, Habanero Ti 26

What is your question here? What are you trying to compare and why? I never get these types of threads. I mean I am all for actually silly threads but this just doesn't make any sense.

Imodium AD or Tic-Tacs? Shirts or Apples? Beer or Daisys?

Dunking on hipsters was only marginally funny back in 2007 when BikeSnobNYC based his entire blog on it. Now it's just kind of sad.

See the guy in the suit jacket and tie and the stocking cap. Where does he find his cycling equipment? Rapha or Rivendell? Humans tend to gravitate to a certain style of clothing and Rapha and Rivendell promote a certain style. So judging from what he is wearing, where does he shop? Its sorta saturday afternoon levity. Long work week. The guy looks a bit unusual in that get up, right. I vote for Rivendell. Yeah, definitely a Rivendell shopper.

Now you guys have me looking things up. The "Campanissimo". Of course he would shop at Rapha! They have a jersey named after him! With a collar even. Does Rapha offer a jaunty cap to complete the outfit?

Wow this has been a bad thread so far.
big chainring comin off the top rope with humor thats as worn out as his bikes are old.

The first pic doesn't look like he shops at either Rapha or Riv. He looks too put together to shop at Riv and he looks too casual to shop at Rapha.
You may as well have put up a picture of a little boy from Norway and asked the same question. It would have made as much sense.

Its just silliness. Thats all. Like 90 percent of the topics here. I'm not literally asking for a serious response. I gotta use more smiley faces.

My next post will be "How much faster will I climb with a new set of carbon wheels"? Will that work? Or maybe, " I have a scratch on my bike, is it safe to ride"?

I get that you weren't serious, but since it wasn't funny or entertaining, I figured I would give a serious answer.

Rapha merino wool cap. Rivendell blue and white checked wicking hemp shirt. Rapha is introducing classic color scheme formal bikewear. Represented is the retro St Raphael team ensemble. This guy is definitely not a Rivendell guy he wears velcro closure shoes. He's demonstrating the new top tube clipped in cleat position for downhill coasting or just to look cool. Rivendell kahki tights for the country club set. Buttoned insulated vest, Rivendell.

Thanks for all those great responses. I bet its fun riding with you guys. I'd
offer you a drink but my bottle is 80% backwash.

Give it up OP.
It’s now even too late to gracefully bow out
