It appears the engine on this bike is missing a component. I'm really digging the funky rear DOs. Somewhat similar to the honeycomb rear DOs that came on some vintage Gitanes.

Edit: Seriously though, how is the Engin in Engin Cycles pronounced? Others across the country besides me might not know the correct way to pronounce it.

I know, right? I have a white bike too, hard to pick it out from all the other from all the other bikes on the bike rack.

Every discussion forum has its resident troll or a person who just likes to poo-poo everything.

I'm also a subscriber of a live chat about the stock market. There's a guy who keeps praising jesus on it as well as bashing a certain politician when the stock market goes up or down. So after a few of his physhing attempts, I finally blocked him. He can't see my posts and I can't see his.

And of course, there's someone on the A&S section of BF who seems to be determined to have the A&S section removed.

TBH, there's only so many times you can answer the "My tires don't hold air?" or "Just bought a bike; Can't change gears!". My hat's off to the pros over in the Mechanics' forum who keep coming back.

That can only be a festival of insanity right? Only one step away from something like "live ghost hunt chat" as a ***** generator.

I have a white bike, but being my commuter you could probably consider it a fleet vehicle. FWIW our fleet vehicles at work are mostly municipal yellow.

Except for the Bible Thumper, it's not that different from here. Every discussion forum has its resident troll or a person who just likes to poo-poo everything.

Ha. funny you mention that forum. I was banned from viewing that forum by BillyD. I disagreed with the mod team moving threads over to it from c&v, especially ones that didnt actually fit that forum's parameters, and I made it known that I disagreed. So he banned me from viewing that specific forum and I still cant see it, unless I log out.

So far, it has turned out to be what I guessed it would be.

Why don't you tell the WHOLE story on this?

I get it, it's a Porsche. But here's a little experiment for you. Have one of those vinyl magnetic signs made up with "The Law Offices Of Mojo31-We Mean Bidness" printed on it. Take it back to the Porsche dealership, or any dealership, or any parking lot full of vehicles. Attach that sign to the door of any vehicle that's not white. It can be a 2 door Speck or a Bugatti Veyron, it doesn't matter. Now step back and take a look. The sign doesn't look like it belongs there. It's totally foreign to the vehicle. Now pull the sign off and attach it to a white vehicle. Again, it doesn't matter. It can be a 2 door Speck, a Ford Transit van, a McLaren Speedtail or a Porche like one you drive. Step back and take a look. By golly, it's a match made in heaven! Looks like it belongs there. That's just the way it is. I wish it wasn't. I have a white work/fleet vehicle myself. A Chevy Express 3500 van. In fact, I've owned enough of them to make a fleet, all white. By far, the most dependable vehicles I've ever owned.

Have to agree that the sign would look great on my former ride.

That is an accurate summary. I left out a bunch of back and forth that doesn't change what I posted earlier because it would be absurd to post all the detail.

Doesn't apply. Points for effort though.
I fully acknowledge I was overly persistent. Billy banning me from a forum I think is redundant and has shown to be of little interest due to its redundancy is within his power so cool I guess.

But your gotcha doesn't apply since a huge % of other posters at the time said similar things as me.

Of course.
I tend to get persistent when I see a continued glaring inconsistency that negatively affects my enjoyment. I then become overly persistent when that inconsistency is acknowledged and not changed.
Depending on the situation, it can be a benefit or a flaw. In this case, a flaw.

I’ve heard it pronounced both “en-jeen” and “SRAM.”

Might have been for good. My flip flops fell off the pedals and into the road a few times while riding, a bit embarrassing, glad I wasn't in a group when it happened.

.

You're darn lucky they didn't get run over. Do you carry spares?
