Are you insulting my bike? I'm just kidding. Thanks for thinking of my poor bike. This is as purchased. I tend to like bikes that others pass up. This is the before pic. It rode nicely, even with the mishmash of parts from here there and everywhere.

Why get a white bike/auto/motorcycle when you can get a color close to it that looks so much better? This color rocks! White, on the other hand says Hertz, Dollar, or Appliance Repair Service. Let the flaming begin!

At the same time, there is so much crossover in forums that I actually think some threads can exist in a couple different forums- and not just exist, but be beneficial.

I think people need to recognize that having a post removed, even if it's one that has been cross posted, is probably going to make a lot of people unhappy. So if a newbie comes on here and puts a thread in a couple of forums and they get responses, we may not remove them. I know it's weird that we aren't robots. Somehow the wannabe forum police don't get as upset about harassing newbies because they don't know everything.

My departed cat was a rescue. So is my current one. The first one was free. But combined, they have set me back over $15 in vet bills. But no regerts.

Looks like a bike ridden with Pride and Purpose, but near an ocean.
Ride on.

YMMV

Yeah, you're right, this has "Hertz" written all over it:

Sometimes white is mo faster.

That should have ‘Viagra’ written all over it as every owner needs it and probably has some in the glovebox :roflmao2:

The owner of that one has never needed it and has never had it in the glove box. :innocent:

Four out of five dentists prefer a white sportscar.

Does that mean his "dating" life is non-existent? :innocent:

No he's been dating the same girl for about 30 years.

This makes no sense as an analogy. Please explain.

Heisenberg and Schrodinger are travelling by car. Heisenberg is driving. A cop stops them and asks Heisenberg if he knows how fast he was going.

"No," Heisenberg replies, "But I know where I was."

The cop searches the trunk. "Hey!" he shouts, "There's a dead cat in this box!"

"Well," Schrodinger says, "NOW there is."

I get it, it's a Porsche. But here's a little experiment for you. Have one of those vinyl magnetic signs made up with "The Law Offices Of Mojo31-We Mean Bidness" printed on it. Take it back to the Porsche dealership, or any dealership, or any parking lot full of vehicles. Attach that sign to the door of any vehicle that's not white. It can be a 2 door Speck or a Bugatti Veyron, it doesn't matter. Now step back and take a look. The sign doesn't look like it belongs there. It's totally foreign to the vehicle. Now pull the sign off and attach it to a white vehicle. Again, it doesn't matter. It can be a 2 door Speck, a Ford Transit van, a McLaren Speedtail or a Porche like one you drive. Step back and take a look. By golly, it's a match made in heaven! Looks like it belongs there. That's just the way it is. I wish it wasn't. I have a white work/fleet vehicle myself. A Chevy Express 3500 van. In fact, I've owned enough of them to make a fleet, all white. By far, the most dependable vehicles I've ever owned.

seypat 11-16-21 03:33 PM

That was too easy. At least other colors are available. I didn't realize Hertz was a sponsor of Porsche Racing.

While it looks better than white, it’s not close to white. But what do I know? And who would paint a titanium bike anyway?

Nah, if you had said put the sign on a black vehicle, I would agree it would look like it belonged.

The inability of some to use google and search for the answers they need is definitely causing some deterioration on these forums.
