Science doesn't distinguish class of wheels. The math was done for a very wide range of wheel weights. There was no discussion of racing wheels nor does it matter.

If you go back to the horrible, dysfunctional thread you are referencing, you can find the post where I spent time watching the authoritative video presented in defense of this proposition, and went to the trouble of pointing out where this authority mentions the limitations on the wheels studied and calculated. "Of course we are talking about wheels with very small differences..." are his words, not mine.
