Does Not "Comepute"...
Nine months I've been staring at this thing and it was only today I noticed. Spelling aside, it's been accurate and rainproof, all for just $12.95.

They garble our words and grammar on products and in instruction manuals, we mangle their characters and words and tattoo them on bodies, so I guess it all evens out.

I bought it off Amazon, but when I went through my purchase history to double check the price it indicated that the item was no longer available.

The K-Tel Rock Album was popular BITD, at least in my area. Everyone was rolling with those under dash Pioneer SuperTuner systems. Good times!

I wonder how long it would take me to figure that out. Probably quite a while. Then, I'd have to cover it with tape so it wouldn't annoy me from then on. Would be too cheap to throw it out just because of that though.

My wife has a really good friend who is from Japan. They were at a restaurant one night with several others on a girls night out. There was a young woman at the table next to them that had a tattoo across her back. She over heard her tell the people at their table that it meant peace to the world. Saori, started laughing and when my wife asked her what was so funny, she told her that they actually put Stupid White Girl. She said whoever did it was actually quite skilled because it was fairly small and the lines were really tight as the used kanji with is quite complex. She has been trying to teach me to understand Japanese as I am looking to take a trip with my wife in the next few year, but it is a hard language to learn late in life.

Reminds me of the ad, I forget what for, about not going for the merely adequate, where someone's getting a tattoo, and the tattoo artist says, "I am definitely one of THE tattoo artists in this city."

Then again, Chinese people wear clothes with ridiculously nonsensical English on them (though they don't tattoo English words on themselves from what I've seen) so it's not just a western affliction.
