Perhaps. But, importantly, one of the missing "features" of such alternative services is Strava's stigma. The latter is reason the demand for "non-Strava Strava" has always been extremely high. But alas not in the current market environment...

You can make your Strava account private or only visible to selected people if you prefer. Any “stigma” is really self-generated.
