Blame the PA Dutch.

We used to eat it with butter and catsup when I was a kid. Haven’t had it in decades. Maybe I’ll get some soon.

Wonder how he fared in life?

Probably the life of the party.

No doubt. I played hockey.

We didn't wipe our buts on bike seats riding around and then stand around chatting and eating naked in public.

We showered and dressed

Small but important differences.

Sounds like someone has a male butt wiping fetish.

Scrapple is one of the best things about Pennsylvania! My biggest disappointment, last time I was there, was not being able to find any.

Maple syrup FTW.

Huh. Guess I shouldn't ride my bike with the white saddle then. Luckily, I'm prepared.....

Nude or not, a healthy human body is glorious. But proper clothing should be worn while riding a bike.

The day after Nude Ride 2024, I rode by a large bike share hub that was near the event. City crews, wearing respirator masks, were wiping down the bikes. One guy had a putty knife. This is something you cannot unsee.

indyfabz 08-24-25 04:18 PM

The only bottomless person I saw on a bike share bike had covered the saddle with plastic.

I think YKW is lying—again.

If you had proof of what you claim you saw you’d produce it.

Put up or move on for the good of BF.

Holy Crap! You actually are traumatized by the mere thought of a naked butt on a bike seat.

I agree. Hence shoes, gloves and helmet. Shorts are a real benefit for faster rides because they allow us males to sit quickly after standing for hills. Jerseys reduce sunscreen needs for longer rides. But a night ride in the heart of summer? At a very mellow pace? You really need very little.

As I noted above, it was a perfect evening (The ride started at 5.) weather-wise for the event. Not hot at all, even when riding in the sun. The real treat was low humidity. I usually sweat like a pig. Not last night.

And look at the 10-day. You can’t ask for anything better from this time of year in August. I’m planning to roll an overnighter to a NJ state forest on Tuesday.

I made it about 20 seconds into the vid before I had to bail, but there's proof there of at least 3 rideshare bikes with the offensive contact.

veganbikes 08-24-25 06:06 PM

It is a shared bike that sits outside most of the time. If you think that thing is clean before someone puts their butt on it you are quite wrong. Plus if you have ever worked on a tri bike some of those people actively micturate on their bikes while riding and we saw one that had crystalized urine in the bottom bracket those are disgusting bikes. Sweat from skin doesn't really bother me so much humans naturally sweat and while there are some people who are poor at wiping I have a feeling most folks riding naked on one of those bikes are probably cleaner than some of these triathletes at the very least but probably pretty clean or spray some alcohol before they sit down.

Either way the world is a dirty place and humans live in that world.

lilpoindexter 08-24-25 06:22 PM

Did they clean the seats after?

What vid?

Uncorrect.

Post the link with a NSFW warning. Make sure we can see the putty knife:

It’s not hard to find using the info given above. The powers that be have already deleted one of my photos.

proof of ride share bikes being used.

Why are there almost zero women in that vid. Do they not enjoy naked riding?

Is this whole thing a hook up for those of a certain orientation

I'm calling BS on this. You're fantasizing again.

Who cares? Do you ever have anything positive to say about anything bike related? Sorry, cranky today. Surgery tomorrow, but come on you always have to post negative comments or threads about people enjoying bicycling. You need to buy a big diesel truck and roll coal, you obviously don't care for bicycing.
